Frieda - The Leonberger (Curly Coated)

Meet Frieda the Leonberger. Frieda had really bad matts on her backend (bloomers) which had to be shaved out. She also had to have a Tummy Tunnel (shaving all the underbelly) as this was matted too.

Frieda also had her coat thinned out by clipping using an attachment blade which left the coat still fluffly for the winter but makes it a little bit to make it easier to brush through for the owners

All the undercoat was taken out from her chest and it was thinned out too with the clippers and thinning sheers

CAT - Spot Shaving

If you own a cat which is prone to matting but you don't want it shaved completely off - alpoochino grooming is now offering a 'spot shaving' service. This means just shaving out the matts. This service is priced at £10.00 for the 1st 20mins and £5.00 per 15 mins after that. Please note: if your cat is really badly matted all over it may need shaving off all over. NEO - The Labradoodle

Here are photos of NEO the Labradoodle after his groom - short but still fluffy and all the knots gone and the brown straggly beard nice and neat now. Neo laid down for the whole of his groom and was a joy to work on

Guinea Pigs

Guinea Pigs - bathed and blow dried.   Sometimes the long haired Guinea Pigs get matted around the rear end and may need shaving to get rid of the matts.
